애드센스 지급 보류 해제

전날 아래와 같은 내용의 이메일을 수신해서 글을 썼었는데 메일에서 요구하는 내용을 기재해서 발신하고 언제 답신이 오나 조마조마한 마음으로 기다렸다.

시차 때문인지 밤늦은 시간에 답신이 도착해 있었다. 답신에는 그저

Thank you for your response. The hold on your account has been released. 

라고 한 줄이 달랑 적혀있었을 뿐이다. 계정에 문제가 생기면 어쩌나 싶어 마음 졸였던 나의 걱정은 어디로..

답신을 기다리며 관련 정보를 더 찾아봤었는데 이러한 정보 요구는 애드센스 측에서 요구하는 것이 아니라 수익 지급을 하는 은행사에서 입금 대상에 대해 무작위로 본인확인을 위한 정보를 요청해서 이러한 메일을 보낸다는 정보가 있었는데, 아무래도 그 정보가 맞는 것 같았다.

만든 적도 없는 여권 번호를 요구해서 이거 때문에 여권을 만들러 가야 되나 싶기도 했는데.. 그냥 솔직하게 여권을 만든 적이 없다고 적어서 보냈는데 문제없었나 보다.

애드센스에 접속해보니 지급 보류 조치도 해제되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 확인하자마자 메일 아래에 있는 감사인사카드를 클릭해 답신을 보냈다. 업무용 메일이라 감사 인사를 확인할지는 모르겠다.

메일에 신분증 사본과 주민등록번호 등을 개인정보를 보냈었기 때문에 나중에 누군가 내 메일함을 뒤적거리다보면 개인정보의 유출의 위험이 있기 때문에 지급 보류 문제가 해결된 이후 발신한 메일 이력은 삭제했다.
